I don’t mind when you turn to watch a pretty girl.
I don’t even care when you look her in the eye and smile.
You can talk to her if you please and its’ nonsensical talk.
But, know that you are going home to my heart tonight.
You aren’t blind, this I know.
How many times have you been told how handsome you are?
Or how much they would like to spend time with you?
When I’m working I don’t mind you dancing with the pretty blonde
I don’t care if you might hold her a little too close for a minute
You can buy her a drink if you stay in my sight while you’re laughing
But, save the last dance for me. My arms are where you’re gonna be tonight.

I love this poem. It's written in a style that i typically don't like, but i just love the emotional love that just flows out of her.

I put this song in there because it brings back memories for me of when i was in choir and we sang this.
A nice write on the song. I think that people should be more secure in their relationships. Like have fun, but remember that you're with me. I think that your partner will be able to feel like they are more trusted by you, and open up to you more in return.
thanks for your entry -
I love this, it is really good! good luck in the contest^.^

I thought your ending was of course beautifully done. But it take a very secure person to allow those things to be.
I wonder how many women and men would allow this really and be fine with it? Maybe more would? I believe couples should be faithful to another and sometimes I think somethings are crossing it to far. What I know sis? So often people just end up hurt I wouldn't trust in things like you wrote about it make me uncomfortable. -
Oh gosh, Im speachless on this kind of pulls at the heart strings if you know what I mean. I couldn't deal with all those things if they happened in that kind of situation I just couldn't it would hurt me to badly.
This had a sense of freedom to it comfort and trust. I don't think somebody insecure and more sensitive could deal with this as you have written. I guess we are all different but if one is secure within them and has trust even in that and they can be trusted but there is always that risk of getting hurt having the heart broken.

Yes, the dating ego never ceases- the old, "Can I still attract the opposite sex" question!" It is the sophisticated couple indeed that can recognize it and withstand it (and I've been married 22 years). Nice song selection, I can play it, and I like to sing it, but I need work on the singing, so I'll just play it...
You've penned a narrative piece here, and I think it would work just as well in prose form, for it doesn't really need the line breaks...
