Wonderful Words To Write

The early morning sunshine
Falls softly on the dock
Sparking water, it sizzles
When it splashes on the rocks

For the silent sun rays get hot
In the afternoon of summer
Simplicity sincere is special
As we snuggled for a snapshot

And little snippets we hear
At the end  of a perfect day

I like how you just slipped the words from the wordbank in without making them overpower the poem. They fit in very nicely; this is a very nicely rounded poem and a good read.
    Well penned.

Hello Katie, you have penned a lovely visual poem but may I alert you to a couple of things that you need to do for the contest? Firstly, you need to put all the wordbank words in your author notes in the order that you have used them and secondly, unless Frogster as made a mistake the word "sparkling" should be "sparking" I hope you don't mind me pointing these out. Well done and good luck in the contest. Val

Thank you Elfin, I sure do appreciate your thoughtfulness and pointing this out to me. I guess I need to proof read my poetry more than once. The eyes are getting old.
