He was just a kitten,
when up to my husband he came .
A little bobtail kitten ,
asked him wont you love me today.
He picked him up and brought him home,
and we fed him and held him all along.
Then he began showing us his love within ,
Banjoe hugs my neck ever night we sleep with him.
Instead of meowing he will knock hings down,
I tell him Banjoe your get a spanking
and he looks all around.
If you dont get up and get him some food,
he keeps knocking things off until you do.
Oh he is black and white and weighes 14 pounds ,
his belly is all white and as soft as down .
When he gets upset he pooches his tummy out,
and looks like a penquin when he lays hs ears down.
Oh Banjoe loves to sleep under the rugs,
and when its bed time gives you such loving hugs.
I dont know what I will do if he ever leaves ,
but I will forever have such fond memories.

Sounds like the perfect pet to me! What a great read this one is! Cocoa was much the same way, except he was a sheltie pup, and gorgeous!

Awww!! I love all my cats and now I love Banjoe too. He sounds adorable. This was so descriptive it made me wish he was mine LOL. Lovely ans sweet dedication to your wonderful cat
