When The Wind Blows

suddenly I turned around and you were gone
I did not want to say so long.
When the wind blows I see your face,
blowing fast as it makes pace.

When the sun comes up I hear your song,
and I know where I belong.

Why did you leave me,
why did you go?

Why am I here with nothing to show?

When you left I had no advice
No one to talk to when my day wasn't nice

No one there when I need to be fed. No one here to tuck me in bed.

Will I see you again?
Will I feel your warm touch.
I know that it's hard but I'm not asking much

I'm holding back my tears, I'll try not to cry.
But why did you have to get sick and die?

When the wind blows I'll think of you.
I'll get to college and get a good job, and as I work I try not to sob.

I will get married and have fortune and fame.
I will have a daughter and she will have your name.

Don't worry my dear you will be in my heart,
And my daughter will know you right from the start.

I'll see your spirit where ever I go,
and remember you forever
when the wind blows
