Sinful Rounds

Hi my name is Katie
I have a lot of Pride
Envy is another trait of mine
And lust I can not hide

Sometimes I let my anger build
When there really isn't any need
It's not as though I'm totally
A person who has much greed

Now gluttony is a problem
Sometimes I eat more than I should
Especially when it comes to cookies
This is one thing I never understood

I've never been a sloth
I won't start to be one now
I've used up all the words
I can only say "Holy Cow"

I know that I must change my ways
It's not good to be so greedy
So I'll give up all theses sins
To someone else who's needy

    madame, your wit is most certainly delightful! the ending lines made me laugh and as for the rest of the poem, the enjambment is nice and the diction well chosen.

    i really like this one... it's unique because you applied it to yourself. I especially like the last stanza because you realize that you don't need any of these to live! lol great job... thanks for entering and good luck!
