Camp of Weird Science (tune of Itsy-Bitsy Spider)

The silly camp director
Just welcomed us to camp.
In the middle of his forehead
He's got a postal stamp.
He stuck it there with toothpaste
And it hasn't come off since
So to wash his face each morning
He just gives it a rinse.

He showed us to our bedrooms
And then he closed the door
We found a thousand beakers
All set up on the floor.
One of them was boiling
Another weighed a ton.
We're supposed to learn 'bout science
But how can this be fun?

The first thing on the schedule
Is go and find a log.
Add a drop of this
And it turns into a frog.
Turn an ice cube orange
Then throw it in the lake
Spread these rocks out on the table
By using this old rake.

Let's all go build a birdhouse
Then teach it how to talk
Bake a pair of sneakers
So they know how to walk.
Take a dollar bill and
Melt it in this pot
Then you add a smelly gym sock
And find out what you got.

This camp is really freaky
I don't know why I've come
The stuff we do is pointless
Like dissecting pond scum
Planting dormant bread crumbs
To see if they will grow.
I can't wait to leave this nut house
And forget all I know.
