"Photographic Memories of Love"

Missing image

I gaze upon old snapshots
remaining  special in my mind.
Little snippets of a summer love
spawned from a bygone time.

We always snuggled on the beach;
I'd see the sunshine in your hair.
The innocent simplicity
of our summer love affair.

Our nights were filled with passion;

So sincere in love's bequest.

Your eyes were soft and longing

as you held me to your breast.

I could hear your sighs of pleasure

sparking,  my inner fire.

We'd feel the sizzling heat of  climax;

Our inferno of desire.

Our release was shared completely;

We grew silent in embrace.

Snapshots of our Special Love--

still bring a smile to my face.

A Summer Romance that sadly, ended as fast as it began because of circumstances beyond our control.
I look at old photos and they fill me with memories--
and the memories of her are truly, beautiful.

    This is beautiful, sensual and romantic without being too over the top. I love the title as well, it works wonderfully with the poem.
    Well penned.
