forever seems endless like the cloudless sky
fields of soft blue and clouds in abandon
a mind cannot see the deceit that grows
grey sheets of rain can delete the familiar
truth cannot be found in sunny fields
the wrath of death pervades each storm
assaulted by the rain I cry no more
instead I seek a new tale of forgiveness
bottomless lies in old tombstone skies
I will not live without a shining new sun
