the past is my companion
and the future my greatest fear
I cannot live in today
for I am not truly here
I remember all the yesterdays
and never the tomorrows
for where you are, my love
is the memories of sorrow
I travel back in time
just to see your beautiful face
and I never hear the other words
your voice is all that fills my space
And in the empty void in which I live
is the shadow of you
and all the things we used to be
and all we never got to do
You were ripped away from me
too soon for my hearts content
and now I live without you here
and hate every lonely moment spent
I talk to God, if He's there
and pray like Hell
that maybe you can return
and I try to convince myself
One day I will see you
but not by His hand
for unanswered prayers is all I have
and I donot understand
Now I am dying, bleeding from the heart
unable to let go of you
and all to willing to restart
they say it's sin, what I do
But I do it for you, so I dont' care
as long as I can see you face
I will smile and laugh once more
and know there is no such thing as unanswered prayers
It may take a while, for Death to take it's toll
but I swear to you somehow, very soon
I will hold you once again
and silently whisper 'I love you'

wow a very deep emotional poem from the sadness of your soul when we lose someone we love we can never get over this but time is a healer and the past does not eqaul the future take care
