I am what I am and
I am sorry.
Three words for three years of pain.
They will not undo that, which I did,
In my coldness and anger towards you.
They will not remove the tainted words
Form the air that surrounds you.
But I must say them.
You must hear them.
I am what I am and
I am sorry.
For that which I have done and all
That is yet to be sewn into the cloth of life.
Silken threads runs alongside coarse wool.
I am the silken one, perfect in my winter heart,
You are the woollen one, simple and free.
We do not blend well.
We do not fit well.
I am what I am and
I am sorry.
The action taken by me was wrongful.
I should never have drunk the sweet nectar
Of desire, tearing your friendship from you.
As a wild animal tears its prey into pieces.
I am that wild animal.
I will not be tamed.
I am what I am and
I am sorry.
For stealing from you your time and heart.
Holding it carelessly within my grasp,
Throwing it to the ground when I grew weary.
For all that I have done to you, tears that fell,
I am sorry.
I am sorry.

That is yet to be sewn into the cloth of life.
Silken threads runs alongside coarse wool.
I am the silken one, perfect in my winter heart,
You are the woollen one, simple and free.We do not blend well.We do not fit well.very deep and sad but if we cannot live together then it is no good for anyone it is one of the hardest things in the world to admit this and to say sorry I can relate to your words good luck in the contest
