Loving You Is Joy

I saw you standing from afar
Then you came walking my way
You commented on the weather
And wasn't this a nice day

That was many moons ago
We now are man and wife
I have loved you all these years
Through good times and the strife

I love the way you look at me
You have a beautiful smile
I could stand and watch you walk
Mile after mile after mile

When you wrap me in your arms
I just seem to melt away
You whisper softly in my ear
Asking me if I want to play

I love you with such deep deep love
You mean everything to me
You are my joy, my breath, my life
I am contented as can be

It can only be true love when you find yourself still happy and content after many years. Beautiful words of enduring and sensual love.
