The tears that stream down your beautiful face
Are wiped away by gentle hands of care
I hold you tight, I'll never let go
And when you call I'll always be there.
I want to fix you, I need to help you
I want you to live and feel once more
I can't help but care because I love you
Even though you make my heart so sore.
In your eyes is a light I want to run and embrace
And in your torn body, a soul I need joined with mine
Not two but one, complete and content hearts
And the eternal happiness, for us to find.
I've always held you when you needed a caring soul
I stroked your hair as you gazed into my eyes
I so wanted to love you and to tell you so
But in my throat the loving words died.
But you seemed to know what I had meant to utter
And when you caused me pain you took it away
Then you were the one to look deep into my eyes
And you told me you'd love me till the end of your days.
