Cotton Ladder

Taffeta pillar,
Rummaged underneath her feet,
As the bears unite,
Persevering through glass tears.

Persisting to rescue him,
Even though they heavily,
Despise his fruitless actions.

Tanka & Acrostic(Trapped)

Tanka is a Japanese poetry type of five lines, the first and third composed of five syllables and the rest of seven. Tanka is the oldest type of poetry in Japan.

This was the first time I used this form with acrostic...hope it works...

Wow, this is very interesting, I love how you've combined the 2 styles of poetry. I've never heard of Tanka so thankyou for adding that in your authors notes, helps make sense of the poem
Thanks for sharing this, and taking the time to enter my contest,

    Luck.
