Water’s gone all cloudy and gray
Leaves have turned dry to a crisp
Flower heads have wilted
Stems now take a bow
Cut flowers dead
In dusty
Vases
Why?

Wow Judie, this is a really thoughtful poem. We cut those flowers purely so our homes will look nice inside. But we should go walking outside and see their beauty where it s really the best.
Thanks for shaing and good nonet hun

The hidden sacrifice behind a vase of cut flowers, they gave their life to please the eye.
Not going to comment on the form as I haven't met it yet.
