To feel the music not in your feet,
But in sequence with the beating of your heart.
To hear not the lyrics of the music,
But the repetitive sound of "No giving up."
To fear not the sprain of an ankle,
But fearing forgetting the smallest detail.
To taste not the sweat falling down your cheek,
But the taste of accomplishment in the end.
To see not the audience standing, applauding,
But the hearts of those you touched.

And for some reason I almost felt like you were talking about a party, but yes, this says so much. Maybe I'd just remove some awkward images like the "break of an ankle"... seriously, it's shocking.
