Within shadows of the world
souls drift and sway...
[presence of peace.fade]
Loneliness haunts a shattered heart..
Making it vampiric in thought...
[craving thoughts and warmth of another kind]
howls heard upon a winters night.
Dreams haunt angels rhyme,
[wings heard on silent wind]
light struggles to withstand
the waves that crash upon a
helping hand...
[reaching out with steady hand]
Scents of jasmine so softly
tints the air as bodies breathe deep
warning all who are near, I search
for a soul, lost voices drowned in pain..
[singing lullabies to nights trembling thoughts]
Soothing hands cool hearts pounding rhythm
as comfort is brought to the soul heavily burdened..
[weight carried like feathers in tender hands]
Only chances in this life are made once, offerings
of peace and love can only be accepted from the forgiven..
[arms open in welcome and warmth]
