Sleek silver nights fall apart at a scream.
Another dream, another thought, another failed reality.
Alone in yourself, can you find the words to say
How lucky you are that you escaped.
Forgotten fears destroy hidden truths
And a long lost amber light
Covers up with a lie.
Can you find the words to say
Everything will be alright.
Beauty overridden in your sense of sanity.
How can you deny the fact
That you were caught red handed,
Thrown apart by a dream
That was never meant to be.
Hidden in yourself, can you find the words to say
It was just a dream, just a thought, just a failed reality.

Thank you for the comment on my poem! And I think yours is excellent as well, I love the rhythm and the concept of a failed reality, I've been there many times myself, and what amazes me is how one soul can reach out and inspire so many. This is an excellent write; you're officially one of my favorites!
