Chapter 1 begins with a woman
on a bed in dim light,
a woman,
naked
except for anklets.
The man next to her
looks at her
& says:
Even in this dark place
your face,
your body,
your eyes
are beautiful.
The pages are blank
after he speaks.
No words describe
what the lovers do
or how long they are
together.
When the chapter ends,
the woman says to the man:
You made me feel good.
Please tell me what you think
