You made me learn the way I want to write
So I could help you show what you could do
You fill your lines with all the darkest light
And make the brightest sunshine feel so blue
Though sensuality is in your range
And funny thoughts can spring right off the page
You make us cry with tales we think are strange
And sometime write a play that life must stage
You master meter with amazing ease
Your rhyme is sharp yet subtle when you need
I cannot write a list of those you please
The list expands above my writing speed
The Queen of angst and songs so "happy sad"
And yet a friend who leaves me feeling glad
