His heart

I really wished he would turn back and look
I now see how much i took
I took away his love
I bare it in my hand
The heart of this man
Once he loved
but i pushed and shoved
I tore apart our love
Now he's a dove
He flies near and far
In search of his heart
Which i tore apart
What should i do
When he's around i can't move
I love him so
But he just wants me to let go
My friends tell me hold on
But how can I and he's already gone
So I will let you go
I give you your heart
Which I myself tore apart

    I myself did the very same thing to the love of my life.  He gave his all and I tore him down because I was just too young and immature to understand the blessing that had been laid at my feet.  "So I will let you go, I give you your heart, Which I myself tore apart".  I feel this poem as if I had been the one writing it. Fantastic write. Full of true emotions and  heartfelt sentiment. Kudos, Love. ~mandie~

    Awww this is a very short sweet poem! =]] I love it really...I don't think I've every broken some ones heart but then again maybe I did =\..Anyway great poem!
