I have a cat named "Butter Head"--
I know that's a funny name!
A pat of butter fell on his head
and stuck there all the same!
He wound up on my windowsill
one cold and rainy day.
He was wet and he was hungry
and I knew he was a stray.
He was just a little kitten.
His mom abandoned him.
He meowed at me regretfully,
until I brought him in.
He is called a 'Calico'
or a 'Tuxedo Cat'
with a coat of black and white
and now his belly's getting fat!
I adopted him 10 years ago,
about the same time as your birth.
I cherish him completely--
He's my best friend on this earth!!

Awww, I love this. I can just picture you finding him...what a caring heart you have. He's lucky to have you as his best friend.
It's hard to believe it's been 10yrs since I gave birth to my precious girl. It's wonderful to see her holding this contest with such confidence. There have been some fantastic entries and I know Georgia is going to have a hard time choosing her favourites.

for any contest and a better on for the prompt of a 10 year old. I feel like I really got to know your cat and can relate to an animal being your best friend. My dog is 13 and my best friend too.
