Goodbye

Cherry blossom lips shine in the moonlite
As love smoothes the wrinkled sky
Leaving baggage in the wake
to live among the blessed
Touches of fine silk
waking up the senses
Giving of myself as
I've never done before
Two hearts beat at a similar rate
Bringing in poetry for all to see
A new adventure at any age
The running of the bulls
Love and cherish this fine moment in time
Time slips away into an unsure future
Give love freely as if it is all there is
Never hold back that feeling of joy
The blessing is in the reward
Share your soul the way I do
For there will be memories to rely on
Be prepared for that last breath of life
With love in your heart and peace in your mind
Say goodbye and know you where loved
Appreciating all you remember
Sixty three years of love and life
Today I say goodbye

    TEARS

It is a good  day to  die to some who cross over and yet the tears flow of those left behind...your loss and your love flows softly within your words...hugs my friend and you must know, one day you will be united once again

    Oh I'm So Sorry

I did not know of your loss until now. What a beautiful poem that you have penned here with the beautiful thoughts of your mom. Your heart and soul are so precious it always shows in your poems and in this one being so special for in saying to your mother the painful goodbye... Don she will forever be a part of you and in your heart. She was lucky to have a son like you.. Likewise I'm sure..
