Growing Up (working title.. it could change)

The song ends... the track switches over on my ipod to  I Got The Sun  In The Morning  from Annie Get Your  Gun.. it starts..
Taking stock of what I  have
and what I haven't
what do  I find?
The things  I got to keep me satisfied
Taking stock of what  I have and what I haven't
What do I find?
A  healthy balance on the credit side

Once again
for the hundreth time since  mid April
I go into reflection  mode
about the past and what's to come

As  I walked across that stage on May 10th
one door closed
and  the window of opportunity opened
I realized that through  the friends i've made
and classes I've taken
I have  truly been changed for good

Taking stock of what I have
good friends, a great family
great memories tons of them
and  what I haven't?
Nothing to fear
as  I look  ahead to the coming year
as well as memories that hopefully
won't be forgotten.

As I look beyond Henniker
and on to the future
What does it hold for me?
That's what  I've got to find
gotta chase the rainbows to see if I can catch them
because there's probably  a pot of gold somewhere

And with the sun in the morning
and the moon in the eveing
i'm allright
