Sunflowers

Morning dew kissed her check
as she lifted her head to the sun
~smiling,

same as every other morning,
until he drifted across her pages
writing words on the soft breeze
~in yellow,

upon her petals into her very soul
inviting spring fragrances and
love in paper flowers and hope.

I've personally never liked the color yellow, but all of that emotion and beauty you've described makes me respect it a bit more. =)

Thank you for entering! I enjoyed this piece.

    Spectacular!

So very deserving of the reward my dear. A golden light that shined in darkness, lit the way through a fog and pierced the veil that kept two souls seperated from being. Finding that in yellow, beauty shined a changed the outlook of the world. Congratulations on the GOLD!

    Love,
