[ when you only see darkness, ]

when you only see darkness,
when everything you strive for is lost,
what is left?

When you look into a mirror,
you see someone else look back at you,
Are still there?

When you fall in love,
and you're heart is broken into pieces,
Are you still whole?

When you give someone everything,
and you have nothing left,
Were they worth it?

If you could chose to save another's life,
at the cost of you're own,
would you do it?

If you had the choice to end someones life,
to snuff it out forever,
Would you commit that act?

If you loved someone,
with alll your heart,
would you run to the ends of the earth with them?

If you have the choice to destroy the world and start a new,
Or save the one we have,
Which would you chose?

these are questions,
that many know not the answer,
I don't know what I would do,
if put into these situations.

I hope I would do the right thing,
but who is to say,
what the right thing is?
