Waiting for these days to pass by.
No desire to stay in this place.
Haunted by these lingering fears.
Some memories, time cannot erase.
I use to love the way you held me.
Now I feel the fingertips fade away.
This pain is eating every part of me.
Tried so hard to tell myself that I'm okay...
When your hands reached out for me,
I let you capture my weak heart.
When you lost yourself in your pain,
I let your agony tear me apart.
Everything I gave, you still hold.
You let my soul hang on your sleeve.
I was the one who closed your scars.
But you still have all of me...

This song means a lot to me because my friend self taught herself by ear to play this on the piano, and when she played it, all of my friends would sing along and it gave me chills.
I think you did a very nice write on the song. I could feel your emotion in this, being ripped apart, but yet one person still has a hold on you.
thanks for your entry -
Wonderfully written!! I really like this.
"You let my soul hang on your sleeve.
I was the one who closed your scars."
This part spoke to me the most.. We've all felt this way at some point!
