The devil in disguise

I have felt the heat of your flame filled touch,
burn through each layer of my skin.
Your not the sweet man you pretended to be,
you are the devil in disguise.

When our lips would connect I'd forgive and forget,
the pain and the hell that you put me through.
But your magic touch no longer effects me,
because I've broken the spell you had on me.

you inticed me with your icy blue eyes,
you hypnotized me by your touch your kiss.
You no longer have the power to make me laugh,
or the sweet kiss to make me weak.

I fell for your smile and seemingly charming heart,
the heavens know how you lied to me.
You cheated you schemed as well as tainted my heart,
with the imagery of what we could be.

I have felt the heat of your flame filled touch,
burn through each layer of my skin.
How could I have been gullible enough,
to fall in love with the devil in disguise.

I hate being the first to leave comments, lol. I love Elvis songs, and this is one of my favorites of his, as it also appeared in the movie "Lilo and Stitch". in the first line of the third stanza, i don't know, but I beleive that the word is spelled "entice".
I would hate to fall in love with a person and then later on realize that they are a totally different person. I liked your take on it, by actually falling in love with the devil himself. thanks for your entry!
