Birthed in fire from the sea,
swaddled by oceans it shall be.
Caressed by winds of trade
and loved by sailors brave,
she lifts the hearts of men
as they pass now and then.
Covered heights green with tree
lifting o'er the azure sea,
Fading light frames her there
hanging in the sky so fair
and so lifts she our gaze
out of flat and unpleasant days.
