Creation

Oceans of violets and blues,
Frosted morning dew,
A reverie of love held inside
by the portrait of a drowsy child.

Languid roseshell azaleas,
Images of a golden heart,
Grasped by the fingers
Of an unborn child.

Author notes

Was originally made for a class, but I really wanted to post it for the public.

Beautiful, isn't it?

Maybe beautiful, depends on what you find pretty...
Why'd you give up rhyme in the second stanza?

      Rhyme?

I didn't notice any rhyme until you pointed it out. this probably needs more work, but i am really proud of this part.
