In a suffocating purple sea
she is starving
her tail broken, shoulders cracked
she keeps the bubbles secret
her only escape she slips into them
and floats to the surface to watch
the cruise ships carve their way through
the world's tears
stealing air through an unnatural blow hole
she calls out in aquatic tune
see me, free me
chubby fat men bounce pink fluffy babies on thier knees
silked and tailored women discuss the latest colour fad
the deck shiney and dry
she steals another breath and squeals out one last
retched cry through her soul hole before the bubble bursts
the sea ever deeper
