As the lotus leaf falls
The wind shall arise and take it by it's hand
For the lotus leaf shall ride the wind
And soar among the clouds
The lotus leaf shall no longer be constraind by worldly limits
It shall fly among the heavens and be as a bird
If this singular lotus leaf can do so much
What can we as men do?
What shall we do?
Shall we let this leaf surpass us?
Or shall we also stand up and soar?
And if we do so will we stay at the level of the lotus?
Or shall we rise even above the heavens?
Before you answer, ask yourself this
"Shall I be outmatched by a single leaf? Or shall I rise to the occasion?"
Author notes
Well to be honest I loved the idea of this contest but i'm not very good at using it as inspiration without somehow using it in there. I hope that's ok.
