To reveal the tears you left
Clinging to my eyes
Please just hold me here for a moment
Don't let me slip away
In the tide of washed up memories
That swirl around our feet
Tugging at our cloths
Fighting to draw us back
Into the depths that
Hold our fears
As the sun goes down
The chill begins to start
Reaching its long fingers
To caress your warm heart
And let the sunset go slower
for I fear the black to come
And let the sunrise come faster
So I can finally see the light
