She steps lightly upon
her path of light and beauty.
Leaving behind her,
blissful smiles
accomplished dreams.
Though they may appear abandoned
her heart treasures
each of them.
Beloved and cherished,
they are her foundation,
her strength and joy.
No matter the passing of time
these little hopes,
small, nighttime wishes
follow in her
steady, stately wake.
As she moves ever forward
toward her destiny -
a little princess,
a revered queen.
