Fun, upbeat and pretty much...I'm the best for her =). Watch the video/read the lyrics and then re-read the poem...you'll get what I'm saying. Some of the stuff is not EXACT to the situation I'm in (I ain't a thug or drug dealer lol) but you can get the general idea; there's hope in this video even if there's no hope in real life. The chorus is GREAT on this; so catchy! The one you love, all you wanna do is take them to paradise; that dream life! There's a special line near the end...you'll all know who I'm talking about right away =). It sound's like I made my own verse for the song lol.
The song isn't the greatest in the least...but enjoyable none the less =); not for everyone obviously. I think some of my rhymes in this are REALLY creative...judge for yourself! I used a lot of rhyming techniques that you find in rap and not really in poetry. But it's very light compared to hardcore hip-hop which this is not. Feedback welcome!
Life isn't NEARLY as easy as I portray it to be here...but hey...what's poetry for?

I had no idea this was based on a song until the end; if the lyrics fit the tune, cool. As a poem, the metre's off and the rhyme's kind of predictable and strange (lemons and limes, wtf?)... off to give the song a listen now.
And you'd BETTER not be a drug dealer!
