Trauma puppy's been around
seen such sights that would confound,
from busy streets to rolling hills
to travel he sure knows the drill.
Now he's come to my own patch
to sniff around and have a scratch,
on the road we'll see so much
with hills to climb and waves to touch.
For where I live there's open space
and many rabbits here to chase,
I'll show you all right from my arms
so that you'll not come to any harm.
The beach, a favourite spot to play
from Wilson's Prom to Port Phillip Bay,
you and I will jump the waves
as you help me to be most brave.
To the hills and mountain streams
a place where we can sit and dream,
for you have been around the world
but right now in my arms you're curled.
There's much to see so stay awhile
for to my face you bring a smile,
I'm glad your passport's up to date
for just a while you'll be my mate!
