The one and only certainty in life is change...sometimes for the better and sometimes not. But the more interesting part is the change that at first appearance is bad, even "world-ending" that causes us to not want another day...but in the end, much later oft times, we find these to be the moments that shape us. Who we are, where we are going... sometimes, we could never have moved on by ourselves without a bit of a shove. Maybe by those around us and maybe by God above, but even 'curses' as we see them end up being blessings in the end.
So it is that it's very often hard to guage, but the one thing that stays the same is our inability to deal with those changes day to day as they occur...and that's why we have those feelings...
