This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I do several times~ Images come to me in many forms~ and this may sound strange but I was getting phrase: head on-
and being shown like reference to a head on collision- whether metaphor or symbolism of some sort~and also reference to a Starburst- (now not the candy but re: Universe)...underlining meaning
Hopefully that makes some sense
