Some said the red sky
that descended on the village,
was the reflection of bloodshed,
thick puddles in mud fields.
We should have seen it coming,
the great hell cloud of leprosy
crept in like a nightmare,
self assigned now to watch us.
Careful not to make eye contact,
his sneeze like stare..
You'll risk fatal disease
In his evil glare.
Screaming rules to the masses,
consequences clear,
he'll rot you down.
Dissolving non conformers
like mustard gas lungs.
You were never one to conform,
I hope he's not watching you..

Inspired by the picture "Watching You". I wanted to place the picture above my poem but I don't think my account has that function.. sorry! -Jamie
