What are they then simple paper and ink?
To me they are a way of escape
A way into another's life other then my own
To a little kid?
Maybe a way to learn?
To explore things that are to them still unknown?
To a writer?
Maybe a way to let out old tales?
A way to pass on their lifes work?
Maybe even for the older writers,a way to stay active and alive
Well?

a way to teach my brain a new way to think
a new vocabulary with which to mull over my private thoughts
a new frame of reference into which I insert my life experiences for closer examination.

This reminds me of a poem i wrote called Refuge for the Hopeless... A short poem...
Sometimes,
When your worlds of reality come crashing
down with intensity and friction...
The only escape is to fling yourself amoung the pages of fiction
There is the same kind of content but I love you spin on it.... Don't stop writing, a concept not shared may just as well not exist.

This is good.
I love to read books.
Sometimes for self escape,
sometimes for the hell of it,
sometimes to see what I fear to express
(I like horror novels, mostly mind f***ing mysterys. I have sences, & storys that aren't finished or If i try to write them, I forget.)
Sometimes just to keep my imagenation still flowing,
But,
most cuz im sort of a bibliophile.
