A little girl
Out in the world
In the rain
There’s no pain
She looked real pale
The task I fail
Observance
There’s no rest
The little girl
Will never see
She’ll never see
Someone like me
The little girl
She’ll always be
She’ll be the girl
That was never free
The little girl
I’ll wrap her up
Be in my arms
She’s safe and warm
One day she’ll fly
Away from me
Soon she’ll be free
She will be free
I’ll wake you up
Stay in my arms
Don’t be alarmed
You won’t be harmed
You soon will find
That deep inside
Deep in your mind
It cannot hide
That little girl
She’ll never know
Inside of her
Would always be woe
The little girl
That had never see
The little girl
She soon will see
Upon her face
Upon my cheek
A tear runs down
She cannot speak
Her eyes unsighted
She looked at me
The little girl
That girl was me.

I didn't particularly care for the repetition or the slight rhyming -
but I can feel that it is indeed a personal piece.

Wow, it is sad, and I really like it!
It was written well!
Props!

Really sad...
but it was wrote nicely, I loved how you talked about it like the girl talking about herself, protecting herself and becoming free from herself. Great ending.
