One ordinary Wednesday
The bright, full moon turned green
The president stood, shook his head, and said
"That's the weirdest thing I've ever seen."
The seas all turned to chocolate milk
and the fish all swam away.
Scientists were all confused
on this the strangest day.
The cows all neighed like horses
and the dogs meowed like cats
rainbows showed up without rain
Mother Nature had gone bats.
In farms across the countryside
the chickens all grew hair
the rain dropped upward from the ground
the sun turned into a square.
The horse's fences all fell down
the ponies all ran wild
and no one knew what was going on
except for one small child.
She had locks and locks of golden hair
her name was Betty Sue
She didn't know quite how or why
but she knew she knew.
That all the odd things happening
were the just nature's way to say
we all need a little magic
in each and every day.
So don't say its impossible
or forget the silly and the weird
just let your days be magical
and there's nothing to be feared.
