We're all getting sandwiches because no one can cook.
Turkey, ham, salami, and cheese.
I don't like turkey or ham.
It's slimy.
But salami is too expensive.
Cheese.
We're getting pepper jack.
Katrina's never had it...
Aaron might not like it...
This is not up for debate.
We're getting pepper jack.
And sprouts.
I've never had sprouts.
Maybe they will help to overpower the slimy, ickyness
Of the turkey.
Are we getting cookies or cupcakes?
Can diabetics have cupcakes?
Is anyone vegan?
No one has cash.
Everyone owes Christine five dollars.
Two hours shopping.
One hour to eat.
By now it's nearly four.

sounds like the widely realistic seat of the pants planning that goes into a spur of the moment summer sandwich - congrats on the gold!

what a delightful write of wanting this and that, no one has any cash to get same. I had great job when I was 16, had many friends, as they expected me to be the payer. never forgot that. smiles. very nice.

I like this, picnics are often so crazy! Its even better that this is based off of life, and turkey is slimy! haha, best of luck. =)

This hads a wonderful disorganized quality that made me laugh. It's quite realistic and could so easily happen in real life.
Just love the ending. "By now it's nearly four."
Thank you for entering my contest. -
