The Difference Between Love and Affection

Through the pain of centuries,
A soul must wander alone
To find the one thing that it is searching for.
It is not love that it looks for,
Because many offer it up just to snatch it away
In the blink of an eye.
The spirit that which seeks affection
Can always find it in those
Who truly care for them.
One searches for someone to care for them
Because without care,
Love is an empty shell.
Stay close to the truest of friends
And affection is easy to find
And love comes slowly in the process.
