so much horrors you have seen
yet, you never gave in, you stood still
they wonder who she is, where she came from?
Well let me enlighten you all, she is  the one  you stole
she is the black woman, that queen the most beautiful of all

from Africa she was stolen and in America she was sold
endured the hunger, the waves in the seas, and the storms
she is the black woman, that queen the most beautiful of all
she is the beautiful African queen, the God's best creation of all


so much horrors you have seen
yet, you never gave in, you stood still
they wonder who she is, where she came from?
Well let me enlighten you all, she is  the one  you stole
she is the black woman, that queen the most beautiful of all


you endured the struggle, you endured the master's whip
held on tied, you carried your self so high even in the slave ship
beautiful you are, beautiful you seem the world have sinned
your eyes, so brown you thighs so thick, better yet your skin
silky and toned, better then the pearls, shiny like gold

so much horrors you have seen

Well let me enlighten you all, she is  the one  you stole
she is the black woman, that queen the most beautiful of all


now everyone wonders who you are, where have you been
your beauty, you smile your toned silky skin
I stand up to speak for you my mother, my sister my queen
the whites need not know where you came from, which ship
only need know, you are the black woman, the mother
the sister, my African beauty, the  black queen

    Wow; I had some idea when I clicked on it what it'd be like in theory...

    but I never thought it'd be so good and deep as this!!
    as I said, wow. This is excellently written
    Yeah, one of my favourites I've seen so far ^^

      this particular piece inspired by the movie"AMISTAD", and I was afraid of offending others on here, but again my poetry is all from the heart and no hidens lines or words, and I am glad you like it, thanks again for the support and God bless your soul.

        Oh, I can see that. Noted it was an "inspired" piece, but yes, I could tell it was heartfelt. I wouldn't worry about offending anyone... I've seen more controversial pieces on here
