I fall into a blissful slumber
Thinking of tomorrow
I don't have to count sheep or backwards in numbers
I sleep in spite of my sorrow.
I float into a dreamland
All full of beautiful things
Not concerned about all the reaching hands
That seem to be floating on wings.
I feel them take my body
And fly me around and around
My senses they all do embody
I watch myself with my dress floating 'round
The love this feeling of freedom
It's has charms beyond compare
There are no rules here, they don't need them
A feeling like this is so very rare.
Let me sleep on till I see my destiny
Where I can live this dream while awake
I will ignore all scrutiny
No more will my heart feel as if it will break
