When I see a child
Lost and alone in darkness;
Cleansed in anger, sadness or fear
It tears me up completely.
It makes me wish
I could change it.

Make everything different and better
But I can't.

Though I cannot change things
I can at least stand by.
Offer hugs and comfort
Letting them know I care.

Letting them know
I'm their friend
Who is right there.
Letting them know
I'm here to help.

    man... Brian you did.... it again. Despite the fact I don't know Daisuke, there's one thing that we have in common is that we look up to u. Man u're proof that there's sweet people in this messed up place we call Earth. I'm honored that being your friend has enlightened me to change my life for the better (that & church contributed to that,) but that's not the point. I believe you're the best poet & human being.

    You’ve always been a sweetheart, Brian. I really do look up to you, not in just your writing but the way you visualize things; the world, nature, society. I, myself, have never really given society much credit, for I see reality in a diverse way; ugly.

    Reading this spoke out to my heartbeat; I want you to see me as the child, lost, alone, in need of your attention. I want you to see me. Talk to me. Be there for me. I’m missing something. I need to find it. Help me. I’m a child, begging for your kindness. Selfish for the moment, self-centered inside. I take pride in myself for not acting so childish but reading this work broke me. Shatter like stained glass and walk all over me. Hahah. This is a grand piece of art. I can only go so far in words as to show you what your writing truly means to me.
