Mums are supposed to be
kind and funny.
They are a laugh
and give you money.
Mums are supposed to be
your best friend.
Mums are supposed to be
there till the end.
Mine is just old fashioned and plain.
Mine just gives me a lot of pain.
She is the one that makes me mad,
You can always count on her making me sad.
Yet sometimes I feel that she loves me,
And sometimes I just want to flee.
But I don’t want to leave her alone,
I know what it’s like to be on your own.
Something is making me stay,
And that something won’t go away.
