Our Pens Of Blood

Deep from the soul, blood fills our pens.
The words on paper is our focusing lens.

From our thoughts to paper the verses flow.
The reaction from others when we will know.

A heart is touched, a memory is lit.
Sometimes a laugh because of our wit.

The meanings are different for all who will read,
because their lot in life is the thing they will see.

So the blood in our pens is not just ours.
It's the sharing of others in our writing hours.

Author notes

I just believe all writers share the blood in their pens be it poems, short stories, or novels.

There is always the hope chords struck in our hearts will resonate in others. The timbre changing from heart to heart, among our spiritual instruments the notes will build as a symphonic fugue of appreciation from soul to soul.

I hope that being a member of ap site you have some others poetry to show. This one is very nice. I agree with you that each poem could have a different meaning to different readers, it's all about readers mood and taste for poetry. anyhow, most of us write because we like to write and we live our poetry.

This is the reason I became connected with your piece... we share not only the ink of God to write, we share the blood of others around us every day who inspire us to write... thank you for providing the first comment to the first piece I have posted here on allpoetry... write on my friend!
