      Yes, quite a conspiracy going on at the time.
      Mariza confides that Yem's bday was coming up
      and we began crafting plans as who would do what!

      Then Yem tells me it is Mariza's bday, and of his plans
      to celebrate, and we begin to add more plans.

      Within two days of each other, and neither tells me
      her own and his own are also just around the corner!!!!

      I did try to reflect Mari as I "see" her
      through her words. I have only been here
      for a relatively short time, but felt
      I've known Mari for a long time!!

    Oh woman, you are really something!
    I scrolled up and down many times trying to pick a favourite, but I just love all of them!
    And your verses left me smiling, enlarged my smile, for I just came from Yem's page.
    Your words are way too kind, and I probably don't deserve all that, but am taking them anyway!
    Thank you for your lovely friendship, which though recent, feels like coming from long way back.
    You made me very happy with your words and graphic. I appreciate the time and work you put on this page, and am ever so grateful

        There is a story behind the green "m."

        Involves the always-in-a-rush artist,
        deciding there was a need for the green calligraphy
        pen which I had in a bin on the other side of the room.
        It used to be close by, but it was with card-making
        supplies that had just come back down the hall to the studio.

        I wanted to make a second graphic, because variations
        of the first didn't give the variety needed.

        Hasty artist, caught floppy sole of sandal in carpet, pitched forward into the squishy, leopard clad foam
        cushion chairs and landed badly!!! The chairs nicely store temporarily whatever I am working on, so small fired blanks of cats and butterflies went flying in the air.

        Concerned which parts were damaged, I reached the phone
        to call Jake's (the pupppy) family who arrived post
        haste, Jake being the bounding-in first responder,
        at 10:45 p.m.

        After extricating me, only minor damage was discovered, sore knees for awhile.

        Seems my guardian angel was watching over me, for
        tonight when I got up, I found a perfectly shaped
        butterfly bruise on my right upper arm (collision
        with the director's chair in the tumble)! Signs, signs!!!!!

        A wiser and slower M-C.

    The artwork is wonderful, hard to tell a favorite but each in a way says something unique. The ode in many ways connect with art to say how well liked and appreciated; friendship gives us a vantage point to see so many sides of a person, a rare talent she definitely is. I think she will love these art pieces, this is a beautiful poetic birthday gift...PK

    Ah, I like it! The mixture of poem and art, but more so, how the words seems to be the impetus for the artwork...how the words seem to build and thus the graphics do...enlarge I mean.

    I know she'll be very pleased...if she isn't we'll just write some mean poems about her...I've never mentioned froo froo to you have I? Ok, we'll just hold that over her head until she replies...lol
