muzzle

i step into you

the tight fit of ordinary

i refrain from the runneth over
when a wet heart spills

a nervous vein vines
on this cold statue
bordered in madness

i savour the still

and the cold touch
of deception

memorize the cobwebs
of eccentric
excreted

hostility is a lonely tooth
pressing against my thick skin

the endless pain
the painless end
my bride and other woman

i wish there was a next room
with revolving doors
with beautiful obligation
with

that damn leather touch

the powdery white wall of you
is my satire
that platinum studded collar
telling me what to do

yeah

and Pope once said:

Pray tell Sir whose dog are you?

bow fuckin' wow

I love this. It's innovative, blunt, and has some of the most unique metaphors I've read in some time.

I love the attitude here too...congratulations on the Silver (:

    Wow!

    "the endless pain
the painless end" and "hostility is a lonely tooth". I don't know what to say. This poem is so vivid and so beautifully angry. Your language(for the most part )so eloquent. Good luck.

Interesting, how very interesting! A bitter description of being collared into marriage, like a dog; having to obey it's master. And there is another women he loves (or lusts after...) too. There is definitely rage that comes through here. I also like the alliteration; although frequent, did not detract from the poem itself. The ending made me laugh, but I'm not sure I was supposed to . Thank you for entering my contest!

    & g'luck!
